We are excited to announce today that Youngevity Essential Life Sciences, a wholly owned subsidiary of Youngevity International Inc., (OTCQX: YGYI) (www.YGYI.com), has consummated the acquisition of the business of Good Herbs, Inc. (www.goodherbs.com), a traditional herbal company with pure, unaltered, chemical-free, natural herbal supplements.

Good Herbs, Inc. was established as a direct selling company in 1992 and is a proud member of the American Herbal Products Association. Good Herbs is known for its integrity and commitment to using either organic or wild-crafted herbs in all of its natural herbal products.

Youngevity has also entered into a definitive agreement to acquire certain assets and assume certain liabilities of Beyond Organic, Inc. (www.livebeyondorganic.com), a vertically integrated organic food and beverage company. Due to the contractual restrictions in the Beyond Organic agreement Youngevity was not allowed to issue a public press release regarding this acquisition.

Beyond Organic, Inc. offers products that go “beyond organic” within the categories of cleansing and detoxification, toxic-free skin and body care, live snacks and beverages, pure mountain spring water, and nutrient dense beef and dairy products shipped direct from their farm. Beyond Organic operates one of the largest, individually-owned certified organic farming and ranching networks in the United States with operating over 8,000 acres in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains in Southern Missouri. One of the more important aspects of Beyond Organics mission relates to sustainable agriculture and responsible stewardship of the land and the environment.

As a result of these business combinations, Youngevity distributors and customers will have access to Good Herbs and Beyond Organic’s products and programs. In turn, Good Herbs and Beyond Organic distributors and customers will gain access to more than 500 high-quality, technologically advanced products offered by Youngevity.

Jordan Rubin is the founder of Beyond Organic and is one of America’s most recognized and respected natural health experts. Known as America’s Biblical Health Coach, he is a New York Times best-selling author of “The Maker’s Diet,” and 21 additional health titles, including “Live Beyond Organic.” Jordan Rubin is an international motivational speaker, and host of the weekly television show “Living Beyond Organic,” that reaches over 30 million households worldwide. Jordan has lectured on natural health in 5 continents and 46 states in the US to millions of people.

“I am very grateful to be a part of the extraordinary vision and mission of a true natural health pioneer in Youngevity founder, Dr. Joel Wallach,” said Jordan Rubin, CEO of Beyond Organic. “On behalf of Beyond Organic’s amazing team of executives and mission marketers, we consider it a privilege to join the Youngevity family and continue towards our goal of seeing one million families live “beyond organic.”

“I am delighted about this new partnership with Youngevity,” said Brett Bashawaty, CEO of Good Herbs, Inc. “There’s been a synergy with product philosophy and with the leadership of both companies going back to my father, Dave Harrison, who was the founder of Good Herbs. With Youngevity we believe the future is very bright for the distributors and for the continuation of the integrity of our products. We truly feel that we have found our new home.”

“We are excited about the Good Herbs and Beyond Organic acquisitions as we expect they will expand our presence in the growing herbal supplement market and organic food and beverage market,” said Steve Wallach, CEO of Youngevity International. “These represent Youngevity’s first strategic acquisitions for 2014 and with a strong pipeline of opportunities we are confident that Good Herbs and Beyond Organic represent only the beginning of the acquisitions we hope to complete this year. We proudly welcome Good Herbs and Beyond Organic to our growing Youngevity family.”
